Perhaps much maligned, salami has been with us since Greek and Roman times, and possibly due to its long history, we find so many varieties. But Embutidos Ezequiel's is, without a doubt, the most faithful to our idiosyncrasy, to our mountains, to our summits. A strong flavor with personality, which comes from the pigs in the area of Castilla y León. After the artisan butchering of the meats, a natural beef casing will house the minced meat obtained, one of the keys to this product is the delicate, but firm, use of spices. In our case, the heritage will also set the tone for the uniqueness of our product. All that remains now is for Embutidos Ezequiel's salchichón to settle, mature and be smoked in our cellars, a formidable setting for obtaining the most particular notes of aroma, flavor and color.
As an appetizer: serve the sliced salchichón on a charcuterie board along with other cured meats, cheese and nuts. You can accompany it with toasted bread and olives.
In sandwiches: place several slices of salchichón on sandwich bread with tomato and lettuce. You can add a little olive oil and salt if you wish.
In salads: cut the salami into cubes and add it to your favorite salads to give them a salty touch.
As a side dish: cut the sausage into small pieces and fry it in a pan with potatoes to make a delicious side dish.
As an ingredient in cooked dishes: sliced salami can also be used as an ingredient in cooked dishes such as pizzas, quiches, omelets or pasta.
