If you are a lover of cured and smoked products, you can't miss our Cured pork shoulder "Lacón". Made with the best pieces of pork. For its preparation, we select the best pieces of meat, which are subjected to a marinating process with a mixture of spices and salt. Afterwards, they are left to dry and mature for several months in our drying sheds, acquiring a unique flavour and aroma.

How can I eat Cured pork shoulder "Lacón"? 

  • Soaking: Before cooking the pork shoulder, it is important to soak it for at least 12 hours in cold water, changing the water several times to desalinate it.
  • Cooking: There are many ways to cook lacón, from boiling it, to roasting it in the oven or on a grill. Cooking in water is the most common way, for which you can use a pressure cooker or a regular pot. If you decide to cook it, it is important to do so over a low heat so that the meat does not break.
  • Accompaniment: Cured pork shoulder is an excellent ingredient to use in stews, stews, or as an appetizer cut into thin slices. It can also be served with boiled potatoes and seasoned with EVOO and sprinkled with paprika.
  • Storage: pork shoulder keeps very well in the refrigerator for several weeks. It is advisable to wrap it in cling film or a plastic bag to prevent it from drying out.
