The Cecina de León is a typical product of the gastronomy of León, guaranteed by more than 2000 years of history: we are in front of an undeniable gastronomic jewel. At Embutidos Ezequiel, we elaborate our pieces by selecting first quality beef from big cattle of the region of Castilla y León. The pieces are slowly cured in our plant in Villamanin, in the mountain air, to obtain an unparalleled flavor and texture. They are also subjected to a traditional oak smoking process, which gives them a characteristic aroma and flavor. Finally, the pieces are matured in our cellars, the only way for our product to achieve maximum excellence.
Produced according to the strictest quality standards, you can be sure to taste a top-quality cecina that complies with the specifications of the Regulatory Council of the Protected Geographical Indication (PGI) "Cecina de León".
